Upgrade Instructions

If you upgrade from Joom!Fish 1.7 please follow the following points for a successful process.

  1.  Backup your database and Joomla! installation
  2. Check that your Backup is working correct
  3. De-Install Joom!Fish 1.7 (Joom!Fish preserves it's own tables while de-installation)
  4. Make sure all files(bots, modules and component files) are deleted from your server
  5. Install Joom!Fish 1.8
Joom!Fish 1.8 installation routine will find the existing tables and try to upgrade those tables. If you have any problems with your tables check the upgrade SQL file which is installed in your administrator ... / sql directory.

    Thanks. I have upgrade following steps (1.7 to 1.8.2) in a Joomla 1.0.15 Stable version and all go ok. Install like Component and voilaaaa. Thanks again to all JoomFish Team.

    Broken link on 1.8.1-1.8.2 upgrade patch.
