If you are upgrading from RC to Stable, remember to delete the cache, as otherwise you may have some small issues around. You can do that from Joomla! administrator -> tools -> cache.

Deleting the cache is not an automated procedure on install/upgrade, so you should do this manually.

In fact, no bugs were reported so far and if nothing goes wrong in the last day, tomorrow we will publish the Stable version for the public. Some kind of a small gift for the New Year and my birthday :)
