This is the first of a number of videos demonstrating the various add-ons available to club members. This video shows Joom!Fish Plus a tool that enables you undertake your translation in the frontend of your website.
Translators no longer need to have access to the backend of your site
You can allocate translators to specific languages - they will not be able to translate into languages other than the ones you specify in the backend of the site
You can choose what level these translators need to be to access the translations. In other words translators can be setup who only create unpublished translations as opposed to publishing them directly to your site.
To clarify a point made in the video that may be a little confusing. The Joomfish Plus parameters set a minimum Joomla access level that translators must meet in order to be created as translators in the first place. In other words if we set the parameter for front end translation to "editor" then we can only create translators out of users who are editors - it does not mean that all editors are translators. So to publish a translation the translator must be both an authorised translator AND meet the Joomla access level specified in the component parameters.
