I'm Carolien de Groot and I live in Linschoten, the Netherlands. I recently graduated on Civil Engineering & Management. My work has got nothing to do with websites. I'm a site surveyor and I do all kinds of work in construction project management. In early 2008 I got involved in Joomla! I started with 1.5.0 stable (which was released shortly before), so I don't know anything about Joomla! 1.0.x and its components. The website I built is targeted at Dutch and foreign customers, so the website needed to be multilingual. First I tried out M17n, but soon I discovered it wasn't what I needed and Joom!Fish was getting ready for 1.5. I got involved as translator for the Dutch Language pack and soon I helped out on the forums and so the story continues. My main objective for now is to improve the documentation.
