Releases are made available to members of the Joomfish club prior to their eventual release to the open community - we are currently making interim releases available on an occasional basis for all club members (not only gold/silver).

I must be doing something wrong. I still get the the "_PROBLEM_CREATING_PROFILE" error after I unzipped your com_jf2.0patch.zip patch file at the root.

Can either one of you Geraint or Mathew tell me your secret on how you fixed it.
I must be forgetting something/ doing something wrong..

Hi Ivo, thank you for your response.

Yes I have installed FireBoard 1.0.4 Stable including the database and their sample data.
I was using JoomFish 2.0 - Beta -2008-01-04 and then tried the fix as described in this thread, by copying the files from the zip com_jf2.0patch.zip over the originals (the patch file from this discussion thread )

Is there anything else I can provide or do to give you more insight to this issue.
Or did I perhaps do something wrong?

Once again thank you very much for your help

I think you'd be better off with the versions of the files from the club downloads area. Best to upgrade everything to the latest version.

See http://joomfish.org/en/downloads/club-d ... m%20Builds . If you haven't installed the jfrouter then you should install this rather than unzip the archive.

I installed the jfrouter. Un-installed and re-installed the language selector. And then unzipped the patch file at the root.

Now I am looking at the jfdatabase zip file.... hmm looks like this belongs at the plugins \ system level (over writing what is there?..... well we start experimenting)

Looks like I am trying to go too fast. ;-) Can't keep up with your instructions..
Will start reading more about your jfrouter and if I need it / want it / and how to enable it...

You need all theses files.

The recommended approach is
  • to uninstall the module and both plugins.
  • reinstall the module and both plugins.
  • enable the module and both plugins.
  • configure the jfrouter plugins. Default values should be ok so just open the plugin config and save the results
  • unzip the joomfish component files over the existing installation

I think I got it.

Took several tries to get things uninstalled and reinstalled. Also has some issues with the configuration of the router, As you will need to apply the patch before the configuration (step 5 before step 4). Anyway I think I got it working and also it looks like it solves the fireboard issue.

I will do some more testing and then respond in the public forums that this IS the fix.

Thanks to both (lots!)

kind regards, Bart
