These are the files updated to reflect some of the changes in JF 2.0 and VM 1.1.
Install the zip from the Content Element Installation feature of Joomfish.

Note that you need to alter the table vm_product_attribute_sku

Before posting a bug here, please verify that:
1. The content elements are copied on the server
2. You are using JF 2.0, VM 1.1 and Joomla! 1.5.3 (or newer)
3. The translation of the VirtueMart language files is complete.

Hi,

I found a problem with Joomla 1.5.3 + VirtueMart 1.1.0 + Joomfish 2.0 beta:

My project is going to run in 6 languages (german, english, russian, romanian, bulgarian, croatian). After installation of virtuemart and joomfish, I started translating my content-pages, the contact form, the menu-names, the products and the product-categories, so far so good.
But there seems to be a bug translating the products or product-categories: first I translated the product-category-names and everything worked fine, but after translating only one product, all category-names in every language are shown without translation in the frontend (in primary language - german). After that I edited just one product-category-name, clicked "save" and all product-category-names appeared in the correct language, but now the products are without translation.

conclusion: when I change the translation of just one product, joomla stops translating the product-categoriy-names and when I change just one product-category-name, joomla stops translating the products!

Does anyone knows this problem?

What I did:

1. installation of Joomla 1.5.3 eCommercePack (Joomla + VirtueMart 1.1.0)
2. joomla language installation via installer
3. language pack for virtueMart copied (via FTP)
4. installation of joomfish (com + plugin + module) via installer
5. DB update (ALTER TABLE...)
6. installation of JoomFish ContentElements for VirtueMart (VM_CE.zip)
7. enable the Joomfish - Abstraction Layer in Plugin-Configuration

Well, that is an issue.
While it is more or less not only JF issue to get both running, I will try to involve someone from the VM here, and as well as the JF developers (Alex and Geraint).

I have the same config as mentioned above. Problem : When i translate a product and go to the frontend page to see the result, the product category name goes back to english, but lang=fr (french) is in the url and this category is already translated and active. Its the same when i translate a category, the product also log off.

Same problem as the previous post Could you send me your trunk version via PM so i can test it too.

The problem is still present on the latest trunk (20080525). Sometimes all the content will get translated, but usually not. Currently I've got a site where both categories and products are not translated. It may even change tomorrow..

Ivo, i was trying to translate the VM i'm using, but i ran up to the following problem.

Updated my database with the code you provided here.
Tried to install the VM_CE.zip to my website using the Install function
Got the following error:

Error! Can't find Joomla! XML file in the package. (could be something different, but translated it from Dutch to English).

And using the installer function within the Joomfish component gives me the error:
File upload NOT successful

Could you provide me with directions how and where to install the zip file manually....

I've managed to manually install the files, but there were some files left behind at the server:

Inside the /administrator folder it left behind the following folders:
