hi its Barry, Ian is working on this with me.
The short codes listed under that heading are set to : en and cy.
joomla filename is set to en-GB and cy-GB

I hope this is what you mean, I am still a novice !

Please uninstall all and:
1. Check if there are the following folders after that:
administrator/com_joomfish
components/com_joomfish
modules/mod_jflanguageselector

If these exist - delete them
if not or after deletion
2. Install again. You should not receive any error messages except that maybe some language files were not installed.

I have the same problem too....

First timer with Joomfish.. been through loads of trouble, installed joomfish 2.0 and did all the manual translation, just to discover the basic router plugin missing, causing language not sticking to what's been selected. i.e. English on home page, when select contact us page, it jumps to other language.

Corrected by installing mod_jfrouter seperately, published and just to discover the above error message. :roll:

System stops.

Plugin Parameters :

Enable Language determination Yes
Language selection for new visitors? Browser Settings
Use 302 redirect Yes
Save user language in a cookie No
Use SEF prefix or Subdomains? SEF Prefix
Sef prefix Language Name Prefix lang-en, lang-zh

Under Joomfish language Manager
Shortcode zh, en
Joomla filename en-GB, zh-CN

Have to unpublish mod_jfrouter to make web page display again.

That's OK, know bug. Now go to and open the router and save it. The error will disappear

and the legacy language selector choice is gone...
