Error - Class 'JoomFishManager' not found

Postby garethtdavies on Sat Feb 28, 2009 11:21 pm

Hi,

I've been given a site to install (was provided with all Joomla files and database that I simply uploaded) but having installed it I am getting the following error on the main index page:

PHP Fatal error: Class 'JoomFishManager' not found in /root_to_my_Joomla_dir/plugins/system/jfrouter.php on line 425

and on the main administrator page (after I log in).

PHP Faltal error: Class 'JoomFishManager' not found in /root_to_my_Joomla_dir/administrator/modules/mod_translate/mod_translate.php on line 91
exit

Any ideas, or how can I disable JoomFish so I can at least login and see the admin area?

When I installed locally via XAMPP on my PC I didn't get this error so I assume that all the correct files are there...

Thanks,

Gareth

Hi,

Joom!Fish version could be 2.0.2, 2.0.1, 2.0 stable, 2.0 RC or something like that.

You can find this under: extensions manager > install/uninstall and then go the 'components' tab. There all components are listed with their version number

Hi,

Thanks but I can't access the admin panel to do this. Is it stored in the db somewhere?

With FTP you could go to administrator/components/com_joomfish/manifest.xml

Somewhere there is 'version'

With ftp try
administrator/components/com_joomfish/version.php

With J!F 2.0.2 it is
Code: Select all
class JoomFishVersion {
   var $_version   = '2.0.2';
   var $_versionid   = '';
   var $_date      = '2009-01-27';
   var $_status   = 'Stable';
   var $_revision   = '1256';
   var $_copyyears = '2003-2009';

It seems that you have older version of J!F. Most probably 2.0.1.

Hi,
I have exactly the same issue : my site backend doesn't work anymore!!!
I forgot to disabled the Joomfish plugins (basic router - pro router - alternative, dated from 2008)...) before uninstalling the component (2.02) but I did it after, directly in the plugin table (in the database).
The joomfish module is also disabled.
All the jommfish components files including "administrator" ones are now deleted.
Cleaned cache ...

So, this is really a big problem!!!!
Help needed urgently!!!
Thanks. Bye

below the error messages
Code: Select all
Warning: include_once(components/com_joomfish/helpers/defines.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /administrator/modules/mod_translate/mod_translate.php on line 37

Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening /components/com_joomfish/helpers/defines.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in administrator/modules/mod_translate/mod_translate.php on line 37

Fatal error: Class 'JoomFishManager' not found in administrator/modules/mod_translate/mod_translate.php on line 91
