404 error pages gives 303 statuscode

Hi all,

after a long time to find out where the problems comes from, I'd like to find here a solution...

I've Joomla 1.5.23 and Joomfish 2.1.7. PHP-Version: 5.2.6-1+lenny13. Apache 2 vers. 2.6.26-2-amd64
I'm also using mod_rewrite with "clear" url's.
The site is in German and in English. Everything works fine except my error-page.

I've created an own error.php. Also tried an own 404.html. When I type for example http://www.developmentscout.com/kaefaffffAFaf in the browser line, I got my error-page BUT after I check the statuscode with http://www.gsitecrawler.com/tools/Server-Status-DE.aspx I got this:

Obviously this is because a "re-routing" from Joomfish. When I de-activate the two languages in the "language-setup" ,everything works as expected an I get an 404 statuscode.
This behaviour is the same when I use "ErrorDocumet 404 /404.html" in the .htaccess instead of the "error.php" file, but with a blank page.

So the questions is now, how can I modify Joomfish to get an right 404-statuscode when someone comes to a wrong page on my site? I'm wondering that not every guy who uses Joomfish has not the same issues...

Thanks and best regards from Germany
