can i edit the translation files? where can i find all the translations files?
on the english home page it says "designed by" than when i click on the spanish translation its say the same thing "designed by" i need to change that to spanish "diseñando por".
also i have added an extra field in the contact us page.. we added "Phone number field" when we click on spanish translation it translate everything else except "Phone number" .... how can i change that or where can i edit that?

First of all, check if you are running the latest available version of Joomla! (1.5.23) and Joom!Fish (2.1.7). Posts for issues, where both systems are not updated, will be ignored.
We need the following at least (you can find this in your Joomla! backend under help > system info):
* PHP version (e.g. 5.2.5). Note: The support for PHP4 is discontinued.
* Joomla! version
* Joom!Fish version
* Web Server software (Apache or IIS with version number if possible)
* Server Operating system (e.g. Linux, Windows, Solaris, Darwin ...)
* Webserver to PHP interface (e.g. apache2handler, cgi-fcgi)
* Database version
* memory_limit from your phpinfo
Please enable error reporting and include any error messages in your posting.
Finally, please describe the steps required to recreate the problem and also please enable error reporting and give us any error messages generated.

I'm not sure what you mean with "translation files". If you speak about the fixed text that is included in Joomla these translations are made within the static language files below your /languages/ directory. In there you find various files per component. The "designed-by" seems to be an additional information e.g. from your template. In this case you need to edit this template file or remove this text.
