how to translate login,search.... module button?

hi i use Joomfish building 2 languages(english, chinese) website.
i try translate english to chinese, but Login module button "Login" , is english(default), how i can translate this button to chinese?
and i install "VM Live Product Search" module, button "Search",and next line text " Advanced Search" still is english, i need translate it to chinese.
and VirtueMart Cart "Show Cart" +Your Cart is currently empty---> how i can translate it to c hinese too?
anyone know can tell me how to work out this?

Can you check if that text is part of the image? If that is the case, you can not translate it.

Is this Login button Joomla! login or something else (VM perhaps)?

When using VM you have to install content element files for VM. You can find more from VM forum area.
viewforum.php?f=24

I don't use VM so I don't know much about it.

thank reply.
i check my website, and i install Joomla at my local computer with 4 languages(default is english),english,chinese,russia,finnish.
i try click Finnish language, then "Search" button and "Show Cart" button change to Finnish language,but "Login" button still is english "Login",donot change.
same when i click russia, "Search" button and "Show Cart" button change to russia language,"Login" button still is english.
when i click chinese, "Login" button, "Search" button, "Show Cart" button all english. donot change.
i think that Login or Search or Show Cart module use this code:
<input type="submit" name="Submit" class="button" value="Login" />
<input class="button" type="submit" value="Search" name="Search"/>
how about you think? those button change Russia,Finnish language,but donot work chinese language.
any way can solve this ?

this Login button is Joomla default module.

Could you switch to a Joomla! default template, see if the text is getting translated then?

(that login and search module i put at "right" position ),for this joomla file, i can't get translate there.
before i show that code:<input type="submit" name="Submit" class="button" value="Login" />
it is click browser: View-->source code. then i got it. it is not from joomla index.php file.
any other way can solve it?

Hi,

could you check if you have the latest Joomla! translations in Chinese? And the latest Virtuemart translations in chinese. Those are the .ini-files

can you explain which folder check those .ini-files?

i use Joomla 1.5.13 version, VirtueMart 1.1.2 version. Joomfish 2.0 version.

i installed this language package: language_joomla_1510_zh-CN_site.zip.

Hi,

in languages/zh-CN/ you should see a whole list of .ini files. Some virtuemart .ini files should be there too. (if you didn't download or install any chinese translations for Virtuemart, then you don't have those .ini files)
Now I'm thinking about it, I don't know if Virtuemart already uses the .ini language files. If they don't then you need to find a translation of virtuemart in Chinese, and otherwise ask the virtuemart forum here or somewhere else.

About Joomla!, can you check if the Joomla Filename in the language configuration (components > joomfish > languages) is the same as the 'chinese folder' in /languages/ ?
