Postby alex on Thu Jan 19, 2012 8:37 am

Good morning,

We just updated the download package of JoomFish to the version 2.2.3 in our club area. This version includes various minor bug fixes as well as an upgrade to the new Google translate API V2. Be aware that the new Google API is a paid services and requires you to purchase your own private API key.

To upgrade from 2.1 version please follow the instructions mentioned in the documentation: ... -joomla-15

The public release of JoomFish 2.2.3 is scheduled for today evening. At this point in time we will also provide a package that has the manifest file set to "upgrade" mode again. This way you can upgrade your 2.2.x version easily using Joomla extension manager. If you like to do this now please feel free to just change this in your manifest.xml file.

For further questions, comments and so on please use our dedicated 2.2 forum:

This forum will become public today evening as well.

Many thank's for all of your support and feedback to this release.

Is this compatible with Joomla 2.5? I just bought a club membership in the belief that we have access to beta versions of unreleased software.

If 2.2.3 isn't compatible with 2.5, where can I download a suitable version?

2.2.3 is not compatible with joomla 2.5.x
You can find the version for 2.5.x (which is not an official release, so not intended for live sites) here:

there is also a part of the forum dedicated to the 2.5 version:
