Automatic change language

Hello,

I have a question.

Is it possible to automatically change the language on a website when someone from another country visits the website? For example by IP-adress or something?

So when someone from Spain visits the website, the language switcher automatically switch Spanish as main language.
And when someone in France visits the website, the language switcher automatically switch to French.

Is this an option in JoomFish?

I read somewhere that this is a standard option in JoomFish.
It depends on the language of the browser and not the location. Can someone confirm this?

Attached is a screenshot of the "System - Jfrouter" plugin of Joom!Fish 2.1.7 for Joomla 1.5.x. I think you mean the setting "Language selection for new visitors" that has three options:
- Site default language
- Browser settings
- Ordering of languages in Joom!Fish component

On my site people get dutch by default, it's the site default language, but I've also tried "browser settings" instead. Then the page you get depends on the browser settings.

Be aware that you're posting in a Joom!Fish 2.5 for Joomla 1.7/2.5 area: there is no official release for Joomla 1.7/2.5 yet!
