Ok I ran jf18_fix and I have had the message "Update of DB tables complete - remember to delete jf18_fix.php"
But I am always in 1.7. Now how I install the version 1.8 ? In dowload I see only complete versions but no patch ?

Uninstall 1.7 and install 1.8

Between that do one of the options in point 2.

Hello.
Thanks a lot, I installed the version 1.8 and all works perfectly. :D :D
This version is very fine with its new functionnalities very useful. :D :D :D

But I will like understand exactly why I don't lost my previous traduction french-english done with the 1.7 version.

These are what I did.
I ran jf18_fix.
I un-installed the version 1.7
I installed the version 1.8
I un-installed the version 1.8
I installed a second time the version 1.8

Why, when I un-installed the version 1.7, I didn't lost my previous traduction ? The reason is jf18_fix ?
Thanks a lot.
Have a nice day.

Obviously the idea of the Joom!Fish while upgrading is to keep them ?!?

Just one last question. ;)

The logical order must be
1)
I ran jf18_fix.
I un-installed the version 1.7
I installed the version 1.8
I un-installed the version 1.8
I installed a second time the version 1.8

or
2)
I un-installed the version 1.7
I ran jf18_fix.
I installed the version 1.8
I un-installed the version 1.8
I installed a second time the version 1.8

or
3)
I un-installed the version 1.7
I installed the version 1.8
I ran jf18_fix.
I un-installed the version 1.8
I installed a second time the version 1.8

thanks a lot one again
